1. Overview

thenooks.app ("Nooks") is a free community platform operated by Greenlyz LLC. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. The only paid products on Nooks are advertising placements — Nook Sponsorships, Promoted Posts, and Network Ads. This policy covers refunds for advertising purchases only.

2. Advertising Purchases

Ad placements are purchased for a fixed duration (7, 14, or 30 days) and activated immediately upon payment. Because ad inventory is reserved and your placement begins running right away, we generally do not issue refunds once an ad is live.

3. When We Issue Refunds

Refunds are issued in the following circumstances:

Ad rejected after payment: If your ad does not pass review and is never published, you receive a full refund automatically. No request needed.
Accidental duplicate charge: If you are charged twice for the same ad placement, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
Technical failure: If a confirmed technical failure on our end prevented your ad from running during a paid period, we will issue a prorated refund based on the days affected. To request this, email admin@thenooks.app with your ad ID, the dates affected, and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 2 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are not issued in the following cases:

Change of mind after an ad has been approved and started running
Low impressions or clicks — ad performance is not guaranteed
Ad removed for policy violations (illegal content, misleading claims, etc.)
The Nook you sponsored changes in membership, visibility, or content after your ad runs
Account suspension or termination due to violations of our Terms of Service

5. How to Request a Refund

Email admin@thenooks.app with:

Your registered email address
The ad type (Sponsorship, Promoted Post, or Network Ad)
The Nook name (if applicable)
The date of the charge
The reason for your refund request

We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks filed without first contacting Nooks may result in immediate account suspension pending investigation. We resolve billing disputes directly and quickly — please give us the opportunity to make it right first.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address on your account. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
